E-mail notifications to technicians not working

Hi world,
I create a preventive maintenance and schedule it, all works fine, but when the ticket is automatic created, the system don't send notification to the the technician, only appears in the Request list, there are a way to generate this notification to all the involucrated persons?

Hi,

       Kindly enable "Alert the following technician(s) by e-mail when a new request is created" Under Admin -> Notification rule". Update the list of technician for whom the request creation notification that needs to be triggered. The notification email will be triggered for the configured technician, when a PM task is created as request.

Hi,
I had made fresh install and restore using last data backup.
When try install and restore in virtual Server using VirtualBox, everything is running and work very well.
But, when try install and restore in our actual Server, its stuck as per below:

Ok Mahdi and thanks for your response, I do that you mencionate, but the notification is sent to whole list of technicians and not specifically the technician assignated.
Need the notification only will be send by e-mail to the technician assignated in that automatized preventive maintenance.

We have asset explore and service desk-plus MSP, It is possible Integrate both ?, 

Since it is very useful during the ticket booking based in asset and also track particular asset service calls.

Hello Rohit,

As informed earlier, currently we cannot promise any time-frame for the feature's availability in the application. Before implementing the feature, we need to consider the demand and priority from other customer's and also need to check a few other things. However our developer's are working on the same and in the meanwhile you can check the status of the feature from the above mentioned link.

Hi,

       If you want to get a technician notified when a request is assigned to him.  Kindly enable "Alert technician by e-mail when a request is assigned." under Admin -> Notification Rules-> (Under technician notification). This will help you in getting a notification triggered to the assigned technician. Kindly drop an email at sdpmsp@manageengine.com, if you need any further assistance. We will be glad to assist you.

Hello,

Please be informed that the UI style has already been changed in the build of 9200 in ServiceDeskPlus-MSP. If you weren't aware about that, please refer this link to upgrade the application to meet your requirement.

In case if you are comparing the current and the latest UI style of ServiceDeskPlus (Revamp on Headers and Themes configuration: Change in UI for Header section) to MSP, then that will be patched up in next 4-5 releases (approximately) of ServiceDeskPlus-MSP.

HI,

We have an alternate solution available for you in this case.

Please go to Admin-Business Rules, select an account and site, create a new business rule with any criteria, in actions choose "Change Request Template To"

Make sure the criteria what you provide always satisfies all incoming tickets for that site (Eg. Sender contains "domain name of that account"). So when that criteria matches the rule will get executed and the template will get defaulted.

Before doing this create a new template in each account. 

This feature is available from 9007 build.

version 9.2 Leave notification ERROR.

Hello Dears,

in build 9009 this issue was fixed as i know.
But now , have 9.2 version, and got same issue that was fixed before.

Leave Added/Updated but the mail notification have failed.
Need to notify the users manually.



When canceling leave it says :

A problem occurred while sending the mail notifications.
Leave cancelling could not proceed.
Please try again later.



Please it is urgent, we are getting closer to choose this product, by testing it for 3 month allready, but again we got failure , so critical for us.

java.exe over 90% CPU

Hi,
Today, Java.exe process went up to 90% CPU and has not gone below for 2 hours now, preventing doing anything with the aplication. I can't even log on.
Previously, SDP was working like a charm.

I restarted the server, but when back up, java goes high again.

OS Windows Server 2012R2
DB SQL 2014
SDP version 9.2 Build 9233

I can´t generate support files, so I attached the complete server\default\log folder.

Please let me know if you need some additional information.

Report: Template Change History

I am trying to write a report to pull specific history on requests (incidents & service). The detail I'm interested in is if the template was changed after the request was submitted. I can't seem to get the tables linked properly to gather that data. Here are the fields I'm interested in:

Request ID
Original Template Name used for creation of the request
Template Name the technician changed it to
Date the change occurred
Request Category
Request Sub-Category

Your Version9.0 Build 9009
Databasemssql

Any help is appreciated!
